Give it some time after creating account

App will error on logon for a while after creating account online. Give it some time if you get login errors. Working great now!

Crashes after signing in

I see something about emailing a gif and then it crashes.

Its just slow

While it does DO what it says, its just slow. Its slow from the notification Center. When you open it you have to wait for it to refresh the icons before you can actually push the button. I dont know why they dont let the app shortcut to the home screen as individual buttons. If it does, I havent found it yet. Just need to work.

Inefficient design

First: I love the concept of the app. Having one "button" to trigger an action is great. But the horizontal scrolling is tedious if you have many buttons. A better solution would be Windows-style "tiles," multiple to a page.

Simple and Good

You have a switch for a the light over your dinning table. You flipped it up and the light turns on, you flip it down and the room is dark. There no more to it. Theres no making the lamp spin or make it spark rainbow colors. It does an specific task and it depends on you to do it. That simplicity of buttons and switches is taken by DO button. Those specific tasks are called recipes. You choose your channel and select an action under that channel. You can collect as much recipes that you want. All of mine use Google Drive to track time at work, time at chess, time at yoga ( it actually works to create habits). The rest are silly to me: Post your location, tell your friend that you are thinking about him, etc. I guess you would enjoy it more if you posses the hue lights, the nest thermometer, or anything of the new technology. But I like it. I mean that is all that I want... My only complain is that when you press the button to once the screen fills with blue and theres the chechmark and when you press it again the same thing happens. And if you have more than one buttons have been pressed you easily forget and then you scratch your head because you dont know if you are starting or stopping the stopwatch.

Not sure

Im not sure what the problem is, but when entering pervious username or attempting to create a new account, it says "this operation cannot be completed," which makes the app unusable.

Great app

Great app. Sometimes has connection issues. Otherwise, its a handy app to keep around.

Great!

This app is a game changer. I have automated just a few tasks and save hours every week.

Nice app

Works very well for controlling my WeMo Makers.

Great

Simply great

Great automated extension of everyday apps!

Apple Watch functionality makes Do Button even more useful (especially if you use specific names for various buttons). Confirmation of the button action sometimes takes longer than the screen stays awake making it difficult to confirm action but otherwise, its on the right track to awesome!

Easy to use

Makes turning lights on and off easy

Loved it until the update

Since Ive loaded the update the app takes like 10-15 seconds just to boot up. Definitely defeats the purpose of the app. I waited for a week for a fix before complaining but nothing came out. Booooo

Fun! Your imagination is the only limit

Im having a blast using the different channels for things that are useful, fun, and just plain goofy. Loads of fun coming up with new recipes. Great complimentary app to its sister app, IFTTT.

Used alongside with IFTTT and Philips Hue

Its the most easiest and elegant solution to have my parents use their Hue lights that Ive set up in their house. Easy easy, lemon squeezey!

Love it!

I have it set up with my Harmony remote, and my Hue lights. Quick and easy.

Easy to use, fun to create.

Easy to use, fun to create.

Great app. Almost

A do after so many minutes option when you hold the button for a bit would be great. Otherwise I love this app for its availability and function.

Promising, but serious shortcomings

1 star because the widget is worthless. The text under the widget icon disappears in 500ms, rendering it impossible to know what the buttons do. The widget is really what makes Do (and all ifttt recipes) worth anything.

Very Helpful

Very useful for repetitive tasks, like logging a time or location
